Tony Plumb - Managing Director

After gaining a degree in quantity surveying, Tony worked for several years before moving to WA where he worked for Sabemo, a major Australian commercial construction contractor.

He formed Shelford Constructions in 1991 and has built the company in partnership with John Mijacika, to be one of the major builders in Western Australia. 

Tony’s astute and friendly manner has ensured that he is popular with both clients and subcontractors and will always achieve a quality product within budget.

John Mijacika - Construction Manager

John worked for one of the major Australian construction companies for about ten years after leaving university and has gained considerable experience in all aspects of building and construction.

He became an owner/Director in Shelford Constructions in 1993.

His friendly but assertive manner enables him to get the best from his staff and subcontractors while being straightforward and honest with clients.

He has a grasp of techniques, technologies and pricing in the building industry that is second to none.

Tim Massy - Project Manager

When Tim finished his degree in civil engineering he chose to go into contracting and joined Transfield Constructions where he worked for twenty years in estimating and project management. He has worked with Shelford for the past eight years.

Tim has managed multi million dollar projects and has been exposed to a wide variety of construction types and is a registered builder.

Michael Antic - Assistant Project Manager

After completing a diploma in Building Design & Drafting, Michael worked in residential and project homes for over 5 years. During this time he gained valuable experience drafting, estimating and scheduling.

Michael joined the Shelford team in 2007 and has applied his building knowledge to commercial construction.

His helpful and friendly demeanour ensures good communication throughout the building process.

Jeff Wynn-Taylor - Senior Projects Supervisor

Jeff’s experience path goes through the trades as a roof carpenter but he has gained considerable expertise in all aspects of the industry.

He has a no nonsense approach to trades people which results in quality building workmanship.

Vince Mancini - Site Foreman

After working for many years with Sabemo and Moore Construction Vince joined Shelford in 1997.

His skill in all aspects of concrete construction is matched by his abilities with all types of carpentry including second fixing, roofing and formwork.

Vic Mijacika - Supervisor

Vic is a carpenter joiner by trade and brings to the company over 50 years of building experience, specialising in all aspects of concrete structures including bridges, tunnels, crushers and many more.

Vic worked for over 30 years with Sabemo Pty Ltd one of Australia’s largest builders.
