The project involved the construction of office accommodation totalling over 300m2, together with warehouse/workshop facilities in excess of 1,060m2 for lease to prospective tenants. The office accommodation includes male, female and unisex ablution facilities and a fully-fitted lunchroom, and is serviced by bitumen car parking bays with line markings across a total of 1,000m2.
The project comprised tilt-up panel construction with a 125mm thick reinforced concrete slab to the ground floor office accommodation and a 150mm thick reinforced slab to the large warehouse area. The aesthetically pleasing front facade combines treated structural steel with Trimdeck steel roof sheeting, face brick work and a limestone-patterned render. The warehouse/workshop is accessed via electrically-operated Colorbond® industrial steel roller doors and secured behind 2,100mm high powder-coated electrically operated sliding gates.
